Travelling LKO → CNB on a train chartered for LKO → NDLS? You'll see berths nobody booked between Lucknow and Kanpur even if they're occupied later in the route.

Live seat availability and chart vacancy come from IRCTC. Coach composition comes from Indian Railways NTES. Running status comes from multiple provider APIs with cross-validation so a single bad source can't show you the wrong train.
